Designed to be worn under the bridle during competition, to prevent insects from getting into the ears or sitting around the face as well as aid in noise reduction. 

This model is a more traditional design, with a long crochet front, that is on-trend, particularly in Carriage Driving circles. It features a crochet loop for attaching to the noseband, which keeps it in place. The ears are softly padded and quilted to assist with noise reduction.
