Happy with the quick turnaround and horses are happy with the taste
I'm sorry but my picky mature aged miss thinks it's disgusting. I have tried feeding just two level teaspoons mixed in speedibeet then her chaff , but its not on. She simply throws the lot out , tells me in no uncertain terms that its toxic waste and she wants a "proper dinner". If you have any suggestions as to how I can disguise the smell ( taste) I am willing to try anything.
Hi Christine,
Apologies that your mare doesn't like the taste of the Brewers Yeast. This doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the product itself or our service to you. Unfortunately we cannot cater to each and every horse's individual preferences. Majority of our customer's horses absolutely love the taste of Brewers Yeast. Would suggest starting with a smaller dosage amount and building up slowly to give your mare a chance to adjust to the new taste. You can also add things like crated carrot or apple to help disguise the taste.
The smell is aromatic and my mare loves it! Never had such a fresh smelling yeast which, like most foods, indicates its is fresh & of high quality.
5 stars
The difference a top quality brewers yeast makes is noticeable in trauma dogs and horses within days. And this did not disappoint.
I'd also been buying from stockfeed and although it smelled like brewers yeast, I inadvertently licked my finger when feeding out... And it had zero taste... I've kept the packet as id love to get it tested to see what it actually is, but it's definitely not brewers yeast. So my research from there, brought me here. And this the very best quality I've found in this country. I see the results almost immediately, and owners within a couple of days. Personality and anxiety levels drop, to calm relaxed, limping doggos getting a new spring in their step, and changes in coat are visible within 3 days.
It's the best, I'd highly recommend it, and will always use it here at Canberra Wholistic Centre for trauma dogs, seniors, dementia, arthritic, alopecia, shock white hair, and anxiety, as well as puppies doubling in size each week to give them what they need for all that growth. 🌹
