The inner bark of the Slippery Elm is often considered useful when taken internally in equines for supporting a healthy respiratory, digestive and urinary system. 

Slippery Elm may also be used topically when mixed with water as a poultice for some minor skin disruptions.

1 tablespoon = 10g approx.

I only gave a 3. The product works well and have bought it a couple of times now for that reason. In hind-sight I should have questioned the organic status.
