Marshmallow Root Powder (Althaea officinalis)

May help soothe and protect internal membranes.

May assist irritated or inflamed digestive, respiratory and urinary tracts.

May help bind together and eliminate toxins from the body.

May be considered as a general health tonic.

Source of mucilage and pectin. Pectin is a soluble fibre that may assist with intestinal functioning and maintaining optimal blood sugar levels. Mucilages are compounds which, when combined with water form a slimy, slippery texture that may contribute to the soothing and protective properties of this herb. 

Dosage

Between 20-50g per day/500kg horse

(10g = 1 tablespoon approximately)

Consult your vet before treating any illness.

I didn't believe this product would work on my grumpy, scouring pony. But it did, a few days on Marshmallow Root and he was 100 times better. Ive started using Aloe Vera too and the change in his coat is outstanding.

Hi there! The difference in Skip since starting him on the Aloe.. Marshmallow ...Placid Rein .. is phenomenal! He had 3 months off and has been in work for a week and is a different ponee! His gut has dropped he's grown his tail has started growing again ( he's appy cross) thanks so so much! Hind gut ulcers I think ! I hope ! are gone
