My old rescue greyhound has started slowing down and getting a bit creaky in her old age. A friend suggested I try this because they knew someone whose dog completely turned around on it. I was skeptical, but after a week of adding it to her food I have been surprised to see a big change in her demeanour, particularly on her walks. She appears more energised and spritely and I can only assume that she’s moving more freely because her aches and pains are reduced.
She’s also a fussy eater so as soon as I opened the bag for the first time and copped a whiff of the pungent turmeric odour, I though for sure that she’d turn her nose up at it, but she isn’t skipping a beat at meal times (1/2 tsp at breakkie time and another 1/2 tsp at dinner). She seems completely unbothered by it.
Everything is turning yellow within a 50cm radius of her dinner bowl, but the stains are worth it to see her so perked up! Now I just feel a bit guilty I haven’t investigated ways to make her feel a bit more comfortable until now.
